Primo Innovates in Packaging

In 2018, the Primo Innovations and Procurement Support Packaging Value Engineering projects, included a focus on sustainability as a sub-project category. This includes consideration of opportunities to reduce, reuse, recycle and recover energy.

In addition, the Primo team engages with packaging vendors frequently to explore new ideas, trends, value engineering and sustainability opportunities for the Primo business. On an annual basis, vendors are requested to help conduct packaging and packaging usage/waste audits to identify areas and opportunities to improve packaging utilization and/or waste reduction.
